I qualified from Newcastle University in 2008 and moved straight back to Cornwall because I definately prefer the more relaxed way of life!
I have worked in several practices in the North Cornwall area and started at Dental World in September 2011.
My role as a hygienist & therapist allows me to carry out a wide range of treatments on children and adults.
I believe my key role is to educate people on their individual needs to encourage a happy and healthy mouth. When I am not at work I enjoy regular visits to the gym, relaxing at home and walking my dogs. |

I qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist with distinction in 2002 from Queen Mary and Westfields university. I worked in Buckinghamshire after qualifying before moving to Cornwall 2 years ago.
At Dental World I work with a wide range of patients from children to adults and patients with special needs. I undertake a large spectrum of treatments including scale and polishes and restorations.
I regularly attend courses in dentistry to further my continuing professonal development. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, reading, socialising and going on holiday |

I started dental nursing in 1976 working in two other Cornish dental practices before joining Dental World.
I qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 2000 and went on to gain certificates in Oral Health Education and Dental Radiography in 2001.
I was lucky to secure the position as Grahams Dental Nurse at Dental World in April 2001 and have been here ever since.
When not at work I run a small-holding with my partner and also enjoy regular sessions at the gym, swimming, walking and have a passion for holidaying abroad! |
I am currently training to become a Dental Nurse. This includes on the job training at Dental World and a course at the Knowledge Spa in Truro. I hope to continue my studies and gain further qualifications in the future.
In my spare time I enjoy being active, regularly attending the gym and occasionally taking part in belly dancing lessons. |
Our receptionist Sue will be your initial contact with the dental world team.
Sue has a background of customer facing, administrative and PA roles and with 15 years in her current position is the longest serving member of our team.
Sue says “As the first person our clients meet, it is my responsibility to ensure that their experience begins in the best possible way and I am here to help plan follow-up appointments, explain payment options and answer any general enquiries”
Sue is married with two grown-up children and in her spare time enjoys music, singing in a local choir and browsing antique and collectors fairs. |
